As part of the European project for the expansion and development of the Trnovlje – South Economic-Business Zone, the first construction works will soon begin. In the coming days, the contractor for Connecting Road E will start work, marking one of the major infrastructure developments within this project.

Road E, approximately 180 meters in length, will connect the local road on Kulturniška Street with Gaji Road, improving traffic flow between the western, central, and eastern parts of the zone. Additionally, the project includes the construction of a pedestrian walkway alongside the road and the installation of new street lighting.

The construction works will be carried out by Sial, with a contract value of €346,130.56, including VAT.

At the same time, we are preparing the tender documentation for the selection of a contractor for the construction of Industrial Road A, which will be approximately 480 meters long. This road will connect newly developed vacant plots within the zone, designated for business activities, to the existing public road Gaji and the roundabout at Trnovlje pri Celju – Gaj, providing direct access to the Celje – East highway interchange.

Additionally, a new roundabout is planned in the northern part of the zone, which will connect Industrial Road A to Trnovlje Road, further enhancing connectivity.
