Vision for EPC Trnovlje – South
The goal is to become a leading economic destination, integrating business, development, education, and innovation. Companies operating within the zone will generate high-value jobs, drive sustainable development, and foster breakthrough innovations.
The business zone will provide companies with optimal conditions for operations, long-term collaboration, and continuous growth and development. Through this initiative, the Municipality of Celje aims to strengthen the existing economic-business infrastructure ecosystem, further specialize the EPC, and enhance the competitiveness of companies within the zone, creating a high-value business ecosystem.

The strategic location of the Economic and Business Zone Trnovlje – South, in close proximity to Celje’s city center and the highway connection, provides excellent conditions for economic growth and the development of manufacturing, service, and business activities.
With the investment in the construction of two new connecting road sections (A and E), the zone will be equipped with essential municipal infrastructure, including public lighting, water supply, stormwater drainage, and pedestrian pathways. The planned area for development and expansion covers 6.26 hectares.
A Strong Focus on Sustainability and Green Infrastructure
The project places special emphasis on sustainable measures and the establishment of green infrastructure, ensuring: Public transportation access via Celebus, Cycling paths with a KolesCE bike-sharing station, Charging stations for electric vehicles and bicycles, An eco-island for separate waste collection, A collection center for product reuse, Tree-lined avenues and park areas, Public lighting powered by solar panels.
